Mostly Books takes your privacy very seriously. This notice is to explain our online information practices and the options you have in relation to how we use any information that you provide us with. This note is available at the foot of every page on our website for your ease of reference.
How we collect information
This notice applies to all information collected or submitted on the Mostly Books (Abingdon) Ltd website. On some pages, you can order products, make enquiries, reserve places at events, complete questionnaires and register to receive our newsletter. It’s worth noting that for your security when you purchase a product through our website we do not retain your credit card information. Instead that information passes directly from you to our online payment processor. Our online payment processors are Stripe and PayPal. How we use information
When you order something on our website we only use the information that you provide us with to complete that order. We never share this information with any other person or entity except in order to complete your order.
When you give us your email address for the purpose of an enquiry or order we will reply to that email address but we will not share it with anyone other person or entity and we will not use it for any other purpose.
If you subscribe to Books Throughout the Year (the Mostly Books Reading Subscription) you will need to provide some details about yours or the recipient’s reading tastes. We use the answers to choose the right books for the recipient, and send those books to the right place, for the duration of the questionnaire.
We keep your personal information only for as long as required for the purposes for which it’s supplied or for as long as legally required. Where your information is no longer required, we will always make sure it is disposed of in a safe and secure manner.
We have internal rules in place at Mostly Books in order to prevent unauthorised access to any information we collect online and to maintain the security and correct use of the data and information we collect.
Confirming or amending personal information
You can check, delete and amend, all your personally identifiable information that we have collected online and retained by emailing us at email@example.com. To protect your privacy and maintain security we will take steps to confirm your identity before granting access to the information we have collected or permitting any amendments. If you are a repeat customer to our website you will have the chance to amend your retained personal details whenever logging-in to our website. When you do log-in to our website you will be required to confirm a password that you have previously created.
If you have previously signed up to our newsletter but no longer wish to receive it then please email firstname.lastname@example.org. In addition each time we send a newsletter you will be given the opportunity to unsubscribe.
